Hi Everyone!
It's been a long time again. We have had a busy, busy, summer. We had a great family reunion. 23 of us slept in our house!! Byron & I went out into the trailer, and let everyone have run of the house. We went to a WATER PARK, BIG SLIDE JUMP THING, ROLLER SKATING & PLAY LAND place all in one. We had such a great time. My favorite thing was the family picture that Karolyn took for us. We were all here, which was my favorite thing! Families are so important. We went to Hertiage Park for one day, had a pinic in American Fork Canyon, the kids hiked to Timp. We stayed down with the 2 "TWO" YEAR olds. Xoey and Peyton, had a ball playing dolls together. We went to the Temple Open House. Another Great Fun thing was the "Family Olympics". I'm so thankful we all had fun together, and got along together. Colton won the Hulu Hoop Contest. Way to go Colton. We played Volley-Ball, had relay races, Water Ballon Hot Potatoe Games, Bubble Gum Blowing and Climbing the Polls in front of the building!
Today was the Dediciation of the Orquariah (sp) Mountain Temple. We took Thiago with us. It was a great experience.
Byron and I have been moved from our Ward to the Mingo Branch. It's taking me longer to adjust than Byron. I'm sure it will be a good experience.

Great News Leesa and Matt are leaving on Sept. 1st to go get "Jenna" from China!!!! I will be going to stay with the kids while they are gone! Looking forward to welcoming our 14th Grandchild. That will be 7 boys, and 7 girls!

Shane and Viviane and family are inbetween moves from Florida to Houston and staying with us for a few months.. It's been fun having the kids here again with us. Viviane went for a job interview in Houston, and Shane went to work last week in Houston, so we took the kids to Fairview Fishing. Thiago caught the biggest fish. I love Fairview!

Hi Everyone,
I am at Shara's house in Idaho Falls, she is giving a crash course in blogging. We came up for Easter Week-end, and little Xoey's 2nd Birthday. She is so cute, (see the following pictures). She verbally doesn't say much, but she sure lets you know what she wants! She knows everything you tell her, and she does what you ask her to do. She is still a sweet cuddely baby girl. Well I need to change computers with Shara, so I can add pictures and tell you about the past few weeks

We went for a walk with Sharon and Bob, on the Jordan River Parkway. I had to find a little bush on the way! Pictures of our quick trip to Idaho Falls and Rexburg to see Shara and Bryans new home (maybe?). We had a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. It's great to have family only 250 miles away! Some of my pictures are dark, and I haven't fixed them for this. Just learning. We had 7 inches of snow in the valley today! Been working on Scrapebooks. It's very nice.

Where does the time go??? If anyone know let me know! I have been going to finish my Europe pictures this past week, but seems like too busy. My dad, Dallas N. Stradley, has not been well. We have had the opportunity to help take care of him. We also have been busy going to Dr's and dentist offices. Dad Thompson, has had surgery on his eyes and not been able to drive, so we have gone with them. We took a ride with them up Big Cottonwood Canyon, it was last Thurdsay after the 1st little snowfall over Conference Weekend. The day we went the sky was blue, the leaves were so pretty, and we had fun with Mom and Dad Thompson.

Western Carribbean Cruise May 08

We started the Cruise off at Bush Gardens in Tampa. I went on all the big coasters! The big kids and the small kids all had a great time! We stayed the night in Tampa, then boarded the Carnival Ship Inspiration the next day. The kids were so cute and excieted, and so was Grandma!

Our 1st Port was the Cayman Islands. We decieded to just have a great beach day with the kids. Bryan's brother Brett and his sister Janell had their children, so we had 7 children under the age of 5. Everyone was so good. We snorkled, swam and, just had fun!

It was very hot and humid the day we went to Tulum. We had to take the ferry across from Cozmuel to Pla De Carmen. We saw the Mayan Ruins. they are amazing. Some say it is the City of Bountiful from the Book of Mormon. We rode a little train into the ruins, and swam below them.

Hey, Shara I haven't changed the Scrapbloger, cause I can't get it to work. You'll have to show me how! Still learning how to do this. Had a better day today. We got a security system installed, we think it will be better for all the times we are gone. Dad has been working on basements. I really enjoyed, Shara, Xander and Xoey down last week from Idaho, and for Bryan to finish his Bar Exams! Sure hope he passed. I think he will, he's pretty smart. I got the 4th book of the Twilight Series today "breaking dawn". I have to wait till next week to read it. I'll be going to Leesa's on Sunday and we are doing some fun things with her family, then Leesa and I are driving to Nauvoo to attend Andrew's wedding. Andrew is my nephew, Marlo and Sandra's third child. Also Jared and Tiffany announced yesterday that they are having a baby in Feb. Pretty excieting! I'll write more latter, and send pictures of my new SCRAPEBOOK ROOM! (thanks to Shara) I'll tell about that when I figure how to put the picture in!

Freedom

Our trip to Floyd VA. We celebrated the 4th of July with Tasha & Brett's Family and also Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. We enjoyed the time we spent at the Hylton reunion and the freedom we have in the beautiful country we live in. We picked up the Bishop family in KY and drove a 15 passenger van to VA. It was so nice to be all together.

The Last 20 Years

Twenty Years Ago
1. I was 39 years old, & thought I was old!
2. We went to Sanibel Island for a family trip. It was great, we spent so much time together, walking on the beach
3. Leesa Graduated from Jordan High School.
4. The worst day of my life, July 19,1988, our daughter Jana Lee Thompson died suddenly. I still miss her.

10 Years Ago
1. I was 49 years old. The year I was born. 1949.
2. Shara, our youngest daughter graduated from Jordan High School.
3. We went with G & G Thompson, on a Greek Isle Cruise, to Las Vegas with Crystal Fors, from Sweden. We had Pam our Foreign Exchange Student from Finland, live with us for a year. We went to Seattle, Canada to see my brother Gale Stradley marry Linda in Oct.
4. On May 13, 1998, we had a great blessing of our 3rd Grandchild born. Christian Byron Greeff.
5. On December 9th, 1998, Tasha married Brett Bishop. Byron was Bishop, and performed the ceremony. We are happy to have Brett in the family.

5 YEARS AGO
1. I was 54 years old
2. Tasha and Brett added our 8th Grandchild on Oct. 11, 2003. Colton Brett Bishop. He was born in Michigan. They were staying at the Gun Lake Motel.
3. We went to Drango Colorado with Ryan at Easter Time.

3 YEARS AGO
1. I was 56 years old.
2. We moved everyone out of State. We drove Tasha's stuff from Tooele, to Lancaster, Ky. into their new home. Leesa & Matt moved to Kingsville Mo. Shara and Bryan moved to Jacksonville Fl. for Law School, and Shane and Viviane moved to Fernandina Beach Fl. for work.
3. Shara and Bryan gave us our 10th Grandchild, Xander Bryan Zollinger, was born on July 8, 2003. He is their 1st Child, so cute, and they moved him across country when he was 3 weeks old.

1 YEAR AGO
1. I was 58. (It keeps getting worse!)
2. We got 2 babies this year, Tasha and Brett, had their 3rd child, a sweet baby girl, Peyton Lee Bishop. (middle name after her 2 grandma's Sandra Lee and Shauna Lee). Also Shara and Bryan, had their 2nd child, sweet little Xoey Gene Zollinger. She is our 13th Grandchild, born on Friday the 13th of April. Lucky 13. We went to Ky and FL. for the births!
Viviane got her USA Citizenship! and we were there for that!
3. We went on a Southern Caribbean Cruise, and also on a Chile/Argentina Cruise. Spent some time at Hilton Head Island.

YESTERDAY
1. Byron's Dad fell off the steps, and Byron spent all night at the hospital with him. He cracked the bones in his face.
2. Thiago and Kaleb are staying here with us. So fun to see them.
3. Went to Church in our own ward for a change.

TODAY
1. Randa called and I had Breakfast with Randa Wilson and Sharon Taylor. My two best friends since I was 3 years old.
3. I am 59 years old. ( So are Randa and Sharon!)
4. Had Pizza and Salad for dinner, and went to the $ Movie, which was only .50 PP and saw Nim's Island.

TOMORROW
1. Taking Byron's Dad to two Dr. Appointments.
2. Ann is up from Arizona, and we are seeing Angie's new apartment
3. Doing Lunch with Grandma, Ann and Angie
4. Making a Cake with Kaleb and Thiago.

NEXT YEAR
1. I will turn 60!
2. I will be 60 pounds thinner!
3. Have my scrape book room cleaned out and some books done!
4. Go to Peru, Pick up Leesa and Matt's baby in China. And see if someone else is having a new grandchild for us!
5. Slow down a tiny bit!

I am sitting here with Shara, and she is helping me set up our very own Blog! I hope I will be able to do it after she has gone back to Idaho! We have had a busy past 3 weeks. I'll elaborate later. This will be fun to have a blog, and have my life in print! Thanks Shara, now I'll add one more thing to do!
